Welcome back

Rachel Fowler, Publisher/Editor-in-Chief | TLT Publisher's Pen June 2022

STLE has many benefits for you—in person and at home.

Here we are again—back to the June TLT, the very popular convention issue. Welcome back! It’s good to be having the in-person STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition again, isn’t it? Our last in-person meeting was in Nashville, Tenn., in 2019, which feels like a long time ago. Also, unfortunately, my flight to Nashville was delayed about 12 hours, so I didn’t get to connect with everyone as much as I would have liked. I look forward to meeting new people and seeing many familiar faces again.

As many of you will notice, the STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition features great technical presentations, discussion panels, the exhibition, Commercial Marketing Forum, education courses, networking opportunities and more. I hope you take advantage of everything the experience has to offer and enjoy being onsite again.

But if you are reading this and can’t attend this year, we hope you can join us at a future STLE Annual Meeting. While you are at home, in the office, at a coffee shop, etc., there’s new STLE content you can check out, including webinars and podcast episodes. STLE members can join the free virtual Industry Insights presentation and discussion series featuring a new topic each month. STLE members get monthly TLT Bonus Content online, too.

Industry Insights and TLT Bonus Content are just small perks of being an STLE member. Here are other benefits and ways to get involved:

Back to the STLE Annual Meeting—TLT Editor Dr. Selim Erhan and I will be at the STLE Membership Booth for a TLT Meet and Greet on Sunday, May 15, from 9-10 a.m. This is my first Annual Meeting as publisher/editor-in-chief of TLT, so I’d love to connect with you and hear your ideas, comments and suggestions for the magazine. If you can’t make it at that time, feel free to connect with me in the STLE mobile app or email me at rfowler@stle.org.
