The STLE Tribology Frontiers Conference has gained a reputation for bringing together the tribology research community in a format that maximizes the opportunity to experience the latest in research and network with peers in a relaxed environment. The conference convenes researchers from around the world and focuses on the interdisciplinary role of tribology at the interface of physics, chemistry, materials science and mechanical engineering. The conference is designed for industry, academic and government researchers to engage with thought leaders from around the world and explore the role the science of tribology can play in solving future scientific and societal changes.
Call for Presentations
We invite authors to submit a 150-word abstract for consideration as podium presentations, or for the poster competition, in one of the following nine tracks:
1. Tribology Challenges in Non-Terrestrial Environments
2. AI and Developing Machine-Learning Databases
3. Experiments and Theory
4. Nanomaterials in Tribology
5. Sustainability and Life Cycle Assessment
6. Sensing Stresses by Mechanosensitive Molecules
7. Energy and Manufacturing
8. Food Tribology
9. Symposium on Tribochemistry: Shear-Induced Chemical Reactions at Sliding Interfaces
Key Dates
June 1: Deadline for podium presentation abstract submissions (after June 1, the site remains open for submission for the waitlist and for Posters)
July 1: Abstract acceptance notifications sent to authors
September 1: Deadline for poster abstract submission
